I'm Kirsten, the artist behind STRIPED PEAR STUDIO, a new brand featuring prints and products I feel good about creating and you can feel good about buying. The artwork is my own, and everything is printed and produced locally. For my notecard sets, I hand-selected a lightly textured 100% post-consumer recycled paper. They were printed using Earth-friendly agri-inks by Ideal Printers in St. Paul, MN. Even the envelopes in my notecard sets were made by a local company, Twin City Envelope. It is my aim to continue to bring you great quality locally-produced items that we can all feel good about.\u003c\/span\u003e","published_at":"2021-05-27T15:44:20-05:00","sort_order":"manual","template_suffix":"","disjunctive":false,"rules":[{"column":"tag","relation":"equals","condition":"Kirsten Sevig"}],"published_scope":"web","image":{"created_at":"2021-06-16T12:21:17-05:00","alt":null,"width":2224,"height":1215,"src":"\/\/skandisk.com\/cdn\/shop\/collections\/image-asset.jpg?v=1623864078"}}]
The colorful houses on this tea towel remind Kirsten of the three years she lived in Reykjavik, Iceland. Rain or shine, there was always a rainbow of rooftops brightening up this colorful and charming city. After searching the world over for the most excellent quality organic cotton tea towel, Kirsten found a perfect source in England!
Screen printed and sewn in Britain with a convenient hanging loop in the corner, these 100% organic cotton tea towels work well to dry dishes and hands. They don’t just push water around, like some tea towels you may own but never use. This colorful tea towel will soon become a favorite!
Each tea towel comes folded neatly and wrapped with a recycled paper belly band. Please note that colors may differ slightly from those on your screen due to differences in monitor color settings.
Care Instructions: Machine Wash Max. 30ºC, Medium Agitation, Line Dry, Hot Iron Max. 200ºC. Though the washing instructions say to line dry, if you do happen to dry it in the dryer, the tea towel will shrink a tiny bit in and be a little wrinkly, but Kirsten can attest that they still work well and look great after multiple washings and dryings!
